Jawel: I’m an exhibitionist at heart—I like being watched and wanted. Porn is just an extension of that.

Jawel: I actually live a regular life in the provinces and work as a cook. People might expect a “street tough” image, but that’s not me. My family background is Algerian (Kabyle). Being Arab and gay brings daily taboos, but I’ve been lucky—my close family knows I’m gay and took it well. My porn work is my business.

Jawel: Mostly, yes—but I can switch. I’ve bottomed in a few scenes, but it’s not my preference. For me, that part is very intimate; I feel better in the top role.
